UC Berkeley has been Webcasting and Podcasting a course this semester on Nonviolence taught by Professor Emeritus Michael Nagler . The course covers the history of Nonviolence starting with Ghandi and continuing up to the present. At this time, PACS 164B which covers Nonviolence since 1968 is not fully funded to be available in the upcoming Spring 2007 Semester. Many of the students taking PACS 164A signed up understanding they could complete the course in the spring.
Please take some time to listen to the course and understand its value in a world dominated by concepts of violence against violence. If you are moved by the work being done, consider a donation to help ensure the course is offered in the spring. By donating to this important course you are not only supporting the education of the Berkeley students attending the class, but are helping make this resource available globally as well as for your own benefit and enjoyment.
